6th - S.Studies/ Writing/Grammar

Hello -  Healy 6th graders!!!

Ms Noreen Aderman would like to welcome you to her class and to her website..... 

 

 I have been teaching for many years and will hope that my knowledge from these years will help you in class.  I do have an undergraduate degree in teaching, as well as two Master's Degrees:  one in ESL and one in Educational Leadership. 

 I have four children, two daughters who are special education teachers, an older son who is in the work world now, while my youngest son just started college in Iowa.  He is playing baseball and travels with that team.  

 I am a firm believer in education;

will try to promote a love for learning.  

My goal this year is to make you all a little more comfortable with writing and grammar, as well as to be more knowledgeable in the ancient cultures. 

 These groups of people formed much of what we have and do today.  Learning about where many of our basic thoughts and ideas have come from is really interesting, especially when we find out that they come from people who had no education, books, schools or teachers. 

Where did they get their knowledge from?

We will explore these topics as well travel across the continents.
